HELLA PAGID Launches Semi-Metallic Brake Pad Line

The new brake pad line "delivers exceptional performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability, the company said.

Global automotive brake systems supplier HELLA PAGID announced the launch of its latest product line — HELLA PAGID Semi-Metallic Silver brake pads.

The pads utilize a metal content greater than 50% and are formulated using a precise combination of metallic fibers, organic materials (including rubber, resin, and friction modifiers), and approved fillers, according to HELLA PAGID. “This unique formulation ensures these brake pads deliver exceptional performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability,” the company added.

According to HELLA PAGID, other features include:

Unmatched Performance and Active Braking Safety: HELLA PAGID Semi-Metallic Silver brake pads deliver exceptional stopping power and enhanced braking performance, the company said. Designed with advanced friction materials, these brake pads ensure reliable and consistent braking in various driving conditions, offering drivers confidence and safety on the road.

Versatility for a diverse range of applications, including:

  • Vehicles that experience repetitive braking conditions:
  • Delivery Drivers, Ride-share, Daily Commuters
  • Towing and Hauling
  • High-Performance Vehicles
  • Recreational and Off-road applications
  • Fleet and Emergency Vehicle

Superior Heat Dissipation: One of the standout features of the HELLA PAGID Semi-Metallic Silver brake pads is their superior heat dissipation capability, according to the company. The advanced design effectively reduces the risk of brake fade during severe or repeated braking, maintaining optimal performance even under the most demanding conditions. This feature is crucial for drivers who require consistent and reliable braking power, whether on the road or off the beaten path.

Enhanced Durability: Durability is a key factor in the design of the HELLA PAGID Semi-Metallic Silver brake pads. The inclusion of high-quality, metallic fibers significantly increases pad longevity, making them the perfect option for high-performance vehicles, off-road adventures, and towing applications. This increased durability translates to fewer replacements and lower maintenance costs, providing long-term value to customers, HELLA PAGID said.

“We are thrilled to introduce the HELLA PAGID Semi-Metallic Silver brake pads to our product lineup,” said Brian Couch, product manager at HELLA PAGID. “Our team has worked tirelessly to develop a product that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our customers. With enhanced performance, superior heat dissipation, and unmatched durability, these brake pads are poised to set a new benchmark in the industry.”
